How do I use and care for my Ellie Bag™?
The Over Tote® can be used over your purse or on its own as a diaper bag by connecting the strap. The Back Up Bag is to be filled with things you might need and left in the car. Please see our "How to Use Your Over Tote® System" page for more information.All bags should be handwashed in cold water and line dried or tumble-dried on low. Some materials will allow for machine washing on cold & delicate cycle, but we recommend handwashing.
Will the Over Tote® work with any purse? TOP
The Over Tote® will work with most purses. Purses similar in size (about 12"x9") will work best, because the Over Tote® will cover most of the purse. However, the Over Tote™ can be worn different ways (see examples page) so it is adjustable to different purse sizes and styles. It will obviously not cover larger purses, but choosing a color and/or design that is similar to your purse will help it to "blend" in better. It may not work as well with purses that dip in the center, such as hobos. Take a look at our examples page to give you a better idea of how it will work with your purse.
What are your shipping policies? TOP
Please allow 8 to 10 business days (excluding holidays) for the delivery of your package via UPS Ground or USPS First Class or Priority Mail. We currently ship only to addresses in the United States and Canada.
Shipping will be calculated at checkout.
What payment do you accept? TOP
We accept all major credit cards. Payment is processed through Paypal.
What is your return policy? TOP
Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 14 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price. Shipping charges are not refundable. Bags and merchandise must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition as when they were received by you. (Please note, this includes having no strong smells such as perfume or smoke.) All items must have tags attached.
Buyer must first contact us by e-mail at info@elliebags.com to obtain a return authorization number. If a return is received without the appropriate authorization, no refund will be issued. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
Missing or Damaged Merchandise
If you receive a damaged item, due to mishandling by the shipping service, please contact us by e-mail at sales@elliebags.com to advise as soon as possible. You must contact us within 7 days of receipt of merchandise to report a claim. We will then file a claim with the carrier. Please keep all packaging materials until the claim has been settled.
Final Sales Terms and Conditions
All sales shall be final after 14 days of receipt and payment in full shall be in accordance with all other terms, conditions, and agreements included on this page. Orders shipped within the State of New York are subject to sales tax.
